Mt. Baker from Lopez Island, 19.5"x27" Linocut
Mt. Baker, also known as Kulshan, is the second tallest peak in Washington state at 10,781 ft. Besides its amazing hiking trails and views, it is one of my favorite places to snowboard. At the right time of the year, orca pods are often spotted around Lopez Island, and when that collides with a fresh dusting of snow in the mountains you get pure PNW magic.
